SharePoint 2013 project templates missing in Visual Studio 2012
Sometime after installing SharePoint 2013 and Visual Studio 2012 on top of it, you notice that SharePoint 2013 project templates are missing and you are not able to create a SharePoint 2013 project. However, its showing you the SharePoint 2010 project templates or in some cases it do not show anything. A little googling pointed out that I need to install "Microsoft Office Developer Tools". Alright, fine. But where to download it? Tried couple of ways like manual download, through Web Platform Installer and through another version of Visual Studio 2012 but nothing worked. Checking upon my Visual Studio information, it was showing that I have already installed it on my machine. I tried various ways but nothing worked until this came into my way. Due to changes in Microsoft's download center structure, various download links have been changed or removed.
